Carol Corio's reputation is built on key pillars and several important career pivots. All mark her success across business development, education, and leadership in healthcare, senior living, hospice and wellness. When her dad was stricken with cancer at a young age, he inspired her to find her passion and start her own company. She was an early adopter of energy and aromatherapy playing major roles in healing. Later, she found herself a full-time caregiver for her mother. Followed by helping others navigate the unfamiliar terrain of the healthcare landscape. Helping people to age gracefully is in her DNA.
Early Computer Sales Career
Carol Corio began her career selling word processors to attorneys long before the PC become "PC." As a clunky computer was evolving into sleek Apple desktops, she intuited where the market was heading and her ability to listen, develop rapport, and organize business solutions for clients and customers came naturally. She spent 12 years cutting her teeth for industry leaders from CPT Word Processing to WANG Laboratories.
Aromatherapy, Energy, Wellness Practitioner & More
Carol Corio next started selling essential oils locally to healthcare practitioners. Massage therapists, aestheticians, and advertised in nationally recognized industry trade magazines and new age bookstores. She expanded her national database of like-minded practitioners and retailers; thirsty to learn more for alternative treatments. She studied with the best and brightest in the field. It was a way to honor her father's wishes. And follow her passions. But not enough to pay her bills.
Decades Committed To Seniors
It was time to pivot. In 2006, Carol Corio launched her professional career in healthcare and senior living; where she has spent decades committed to improving the quality of life for elders. She has applied her listening skills, caregiving expertise, business and entrepreneurial acumen to business development, educating professionals in wellness, hospice care, energy and healing for New England's great providers in assisted living, homecare, and hospice.
From Roots, Multiple Pivots Back to Major Passion
Today, Carol Corio is back where she belongs. Her roots. Her "dad-inspired" missive to find her passion in life and follow it. Educating other on the awareness of energy and the power of wellness. Discovering X39 technology reignited her passion and inspired her to relaunch Quality of Life Associates.
As someone who chronologically could be looking at retirement, but mentally and spiritually have more acts in her, Carol was noticing her own body’s ability to heal slow down, her sleep disrupted, her brain fogged at times, her energy depleted. Aging is not for the faint of heart. When you don’t have your health, the quality of your life can be greatly diminished. She has found a solution that responded to her body’s natural ability to align with health, no drugs, no stimulants, no side effects, using just phototherapy, light waves, in the same way that the sun’s rays stimulate the increase of vitamin D in our body.

Quality of Life Associates was founded over 35 years ago by Carol Corio, encouraged by her dad, who even inspired the actual name of the company. She has been on a continuing mission to learn everything she could about alternative therapies, energy awareness, aromatherapy, and overall wellness and health. She developed leadership expertise in all. She went on to serve in professional roles in senior living, hospice, and homecare. In 2025, she relaunched QLA, announcing she had become a Brand Partner with global health technology leader, LifeWave.
